That Sanlam Cape Town Marathon was the best 42km race I have ever ran. I’ve had faster finish times, but never this consistent throughout the race. Going at the same pace consistently is the toughest way to run, and the only way to improve sustainably.

All my friends who ran on Sunday had incredible experiences #SanlamCapeTownMarathon

Recovery Run is basically a slow, tough run. I try keeping mine in that zone 2 range of effort. It’s going to be a long time till I begin training again 😔
