I am recruiting PhD students and postdocs at Cornell Bowers Computing and Information Science for Fall 2024! Looking for people passionate about solving problems at the intersection of Software Engineering and Machine Learning! Reach out if you are one of them, and/or please spread the word!

Parashkev Nachev delivers his extraordinary inaugural professorial lecture UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology Humanizing neurology

Had a great time talking today about Best practices in software engineering, alongside Emilio Monti and Ryan Daniels at the #AISummitforScience in Cambridge. Big thanks to Catherine Breslin for putting it together and inviting me to participate! 🚀👩💻Accelerate_Science Cambridge University

Thrilled to announce that we clinched the SECOND PRIZE at the Cambridge University University of Cambridge ThinkLab Google BBC Cape #Hackathon2023 on envisioning the #FutureOfWork, focusing on #Wellbeing, #Inclusion and #Neurodiversity. Big thanks to all involved, you made this journey unforgettable!

A new #AI tool, developed by a team of researchers at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology and UCLH and led by Dr James Ruffle Dr James K Ruffle, can analyse brain tumour scans more quickly than experienced neuroradiologists and provide greater patient-personalised detail to aid treatment ucl.ac.uk/news/2024/oct/…

Thank you so much CRUKCOLcentre! We’re thrilled to have won and couldn’t be more proud of the team. Congratulations team! Excited to take our project to the next level.

This was so fun! 🤩 Thank you HHMI | Janelia and #4DCP for the opportunity to present amongst so many amazing people.

Dr Dr James K Ruffle and the wider team at the High-Dimensional Neurology group at @UCLiON are transforming brain cancer care with AI-based tools that can analyse brain scans within seconds. We spoke to Dr Ruffle about their progress: buff.ly/BB7Zsug

Had so much fun sharing our research at the intersection of EM connectomics and computer vision- thanks to Accelerate_Science, Cambridge University and #MRC-LMB!

Finally BiaPy is out in Nature Methods! 🥳🥳🥳 A major milestone in my research! Incredibly proud of the progress made. Huge thanks to my PhD supervisors Ignacio Arganda-Carreras and Arrate Munoz Barrutia for their invaluable guidance and support throughout this journey. Check out the thread🧵👇
