Around this time last month, we were enjoying ourselves at the 17th Pecha Kucha Night here at modus studio. Thank you to everyone who joined us and especially to those who presented! We love the sense of togetherness we always enjoy with our community at this event.

Our team recently submitted an entry into the Cultural Winery design competition hosted by Podere Fedespina and TerraViva Competitions. Although our entry was not selected by the jury, it provided our team with opportunities to explore and experiment with new ideas.

The City of Redding, California, recently celebrated the grand opening of their new urban park, now officially named Whistle Stop Park. Our design team joined the community for this exciting event featuring live music, food, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Construction at the Anthony Timberlands Center continues to advance! The upper gutter beam, a crucial component of the mass timber structure, has now been installed. This beam serves a dual purpose: as both a structural member and a rainwater management system.

The stair towers and first-floor framing are now complete at the upcoming Moxy Hotel at South Yard. Installation of the upper-level walls will begin soon, using a prefabricated panelized wall system. Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
