Tried a new model this week, 1 week sprint at a higher price point. It went well, great client, got this really positive testimonial. Slots available in Jan --> peaceterms.com #ruby #rails #openai #buildinpublic

Today I deployed a simple prototype for a content-heavy Rails app with SQLite, SolidQueue, Importmaps with preload, plain CSS, Propshaft, Ruby 3.3, Kamal and Cloudflare on a Hetzner VM. I'm missing a few things which I'll figure out tomorrow, but I love the simplicity so far.

The new importmap defaults for Rails are great. * Pins are preloaded by default * Pins are downloaded by default * No shim by default * Unsupported browsers will see an error page by default #nobuild Rails made a lot of progress in the last days🎉

I'm looking into building Virtual table support for the ActiveRecord SchemaDumper. I played around with the SQLite FTS which works great, but some glue is currently missing to make virtual tables work well with AR's schema

It's still an early prototype and it's all SQLite FTS specific, but I got the following to work with the Rails schema.rb format:

The Campfire #Once code is very confident: * 3 system tests * custom authentication/authorization * custom SSRF protection * not a lot of validations I like it! Also `bundle install` and `rails c` worked out of the box :)

I just realized ActiveStorage's :resolve_model_to_route config can be configured with any custom url helper name, including but not limited! to `:rails_storage_proxy`
