What livery would the 66s who visit Sodor likely wear, and which company would own them? Not really into modern stuff so a fish outta water here

Due to a lack of facilities at Barrow-in-Furness, there is now less through traffic from the Mainland than before. Most passenger services terminate at Vicarstown to interchange with BR Class 195 units, who carry on the journey over the Walney Channel.

BR Class 66 diesels from the Mainland regularly visit Sodor to handle container traffic delivered to Tidmouth Harbour. - Thanks for all the advice about which the livery the 66 would wear. I have gone with the blue DRS, but not added the insignia yet in case I need to change it

While doing research for a forthcoming project, I found this image of an austerity tank in GWR green, and I imagine this is what the Austerity Engine is likely to resemble. Also, this engine (3781) is now on the Mid Hants Railway and has been rebuilt to resemble Thomas.

From the Ffarquhar sequence notes, this suggests at one stage the special train could have consisted of an autocoach? My guess would be hauled by Duck or Oliver, but we know Oliver is listed as taking the saloons. Not heard of or seen any evidence of a model autocoach before...

The outer face of the arrival platform of Kirk Machan is rented by the NWR for the use of their branch line trains. The CFR departures are from the western platform and arrivals at the eastern. Between these two roads, a siding has been laid to allow a relief train to stand by.
