Would preventing a PRC invasion by controlling the air over the Taiwan Straits be Air Dominance or Air Denial? Wouldn’t a mutual Air Denial strategy where PRC and Taiwan both control the air over their own forces end up with PRC ships on Taiwan’s beaches?

I saw the exhibit dedicated to John at the NASM this week. It’s in the new Speed gallery. I also heard him talk at a Daedalian chapter meeting at Holloman in about 1990.
