"[A] common complaint is that posts with links tend to get lower reach" It's because you're hiding a lot of links, and when you show them that crappy preview image where you only show like three words of the title doesn't look like a link card and people ignore it.

Ah yes, I definitely want my bed to be remotely controlled, keep all the settings in the cloud, not just the stats.

Got a 13" from work and a personal 16". They're either connected to a 27" or a 34" monitor, depending on the situation, Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard. I've gotten too used to a big screen to keep squinting

It just hit me: if there's one way AI can help designers, it's getting rid of the lorem ipsum crap. Like when you create a file in Illustrator, add a project description, and when you click on text, get a context button to generate a title or a paragraph about whatever.

Looking how much bullshit people post there and the extent to which they lie in their CVs, plus all the AI slop, yeah, I agree

I sometimes think about abstract art. The reason why Rothko and Pollock are so good is because their paintings don't look like plain decorations. I've seen lots of nice abstract paintings, but most just look like dull prints you hang on a wall when you want to sell your house

I absolutely love what Pierre did with their website, it’s spectacular, but I swear I have no idea what the product is and how to use it

The language. It’s not just a tongue twister, it also has some strange rules. Half the continent speaks Romance languages, English is 50% Latin or French, the US was a pop cultural behemoth. And Japan is just so fuckin’ lovable.
