Evidence Based Education school data updates @joeybagstock Mr D Greenshields FCCT Craig Barton In MS Forms you can assign points to each question with the points count for each question being returned in the spreadsheet. This allows you to easily find those who answered correctly/incorrectly. Would that be any use? #MIEexpert

Tom Bennett OBE What do you expect from a site of a director/producer of science fiction? At least Lucas and his edutopia are consistent as they here too, peddle science fiction. Maybe - analogous to Industrial Light & Magic - this should be called Educational Smoke & Mirrors

Reviewing next half term’s KS3 material for potential misconceptions and came across this nugget. 😔 Now considering how to explain that #cambridgecheckpoint and/or #oup are mistaken.

I have completed Module One of Evidence Based Education's Assessment Lead Programme. In this module I have developed a strong understanding of the four pillars of assessment, bias and constructs.

Really like this idea. Maths (rearranging equations & resolving vectors) is an obstacle in Mechanics and Dynamics. Will implement the next start of AS.

I have completed Unit 1 of Evidence Based Education's Science of Learning Programme. In this unit I have developed a strong understanding of the cognitive structures and processes involved in learning, their limitations and how they can inform my classroom practice.

Teaching “critical thinking skills” seems like a pedagogical perpetual motion machine, especially if it’s at the expense of knowledge. Very disappointed Jim Al-Khalili did not appear to implement the scientific method he espoused in the article.

We can't make any more space for attendees and we had a lot of international interest so we have launched a remote ticket. Same price gets you access to all the talks as we can stream and recordings. We are hoping to stream all of them but we also know how IT can sometimes be.

Is it just me or should there be wider concern that a plough is now referred to as a “device for breaking up soil”. IGCSE question.
