It's really sad what's happening in Britain, but on the plus side, we can start dusting off old Soviet Jokes for the UK now. For example: A judge walks out of his chambers laughing his head off. A colleague asks him why he is laughing. "I just heard the funniest joke in the

In 2024, for the first time, a majority of engaged American couples purchased a man-made diamond rather than a mined diamond. At the same time, since 2015, the price of man-made diamonds has dropped a staggering 90%. These are not fakes or imitations, but actual diamonds.

Until recently, most gemstone-quality diamonds were mined in Russia, Africa, Canada, or Australia. But through two different techniques, including with powerful presses that imitate natural diamond formation in the Earth, these jewels can now simply be made in a factory.

When even poor Indians and Africans can show off their bulky diamond rings, they will no longer be a status symbol. Mined diamonds will lose demand. But this will be more a return to the status quo of other gems, which never benefitted from De Beers' marketing campaign.

Diamonds are toast. They are not especially rare, and now they can be factory-produced. If you want to buy a truly scarce and stunning 'gemstone' for your loved one, consider moldavite tektite. The total global supply is around ~300 tons. Moldavites are also from space (at

Variations in types of liberalism are extremely slight. None of them support industry or technology as such (seeing them as ‘side effects’), all of them reject any notion of collective goal or accomplishment, and all of them are fine with the gradual extinction of the species.

Boomers have been completely unprepared for the waves of content that have been released since they first started watching television in black and white as children in the 1950s. We've been ruled by people who take anything shown on a screen as literal factual truth for decades.
