I seen a young woman today I mentored in the youth shelter when I worked there in college. She remembered me and was so happy to see me. That was literally 19 years ago.

seeing my kids genuinely happy brings me so much joy.

When our teens choose to sit with us in the living room and have deep conversations about their struggles as young people. It is the best feeling. Even better when they tell you thank you. As parents of teens, nights like those give me peace that we are raising them right. ❤️
