why do #they view it as so weird for el to be withdrawn from people whenever she's grieving. it's incredibly normal for ppl to withdraw from their loved ones, especially after going through severe trauma. she's human. but again.. #they view her as an alien so
she isn't even withdrawn from mike we just didn't see her talking to him, but we know she did. she was cuddling into him at the hospital & mike knew what happened to her. obviously she's not going to want to talk much after losing her best friend & losing to vecna
ʎʞs no you are a freak. why are you so desperate to compare one of the most empowering scenes in this show, a girl standing up to her abuser who ruined her life, trying to make it about fucking ships in the first place??? idgaf about whatever you were trying to do here.
“it was not about ships” yet you’re the one bringing up mike and even will when that scene was never about either of them. and god forbid i don’t want to have a constructive conversation with someone who wants to make a hugely important scene something it’s not??
no one is ruining this scene for me, it’s so satisfying to see her stand up to the man who abused her and ruined her life and put him in his place, it’s also so important to el’s arc
I can’t believe some people are making this scene of a woman standing up to her abuser one of the most important scenes of Els arc about fucking ships the plot has truly been lost
this is one of my favourite scenes of el, i love her & butterflies more than i can ever put into words <3
to me, this scene represents el's growth as butterflies are often seen as a symbol for this. this season and this episode especially explores el discovering who she is 🦋
butterflies are also representative of freedom - which is shown through el's storyline, finding her own sense of freedom & sense of self as she grows 🫶🏻
