The sound of a soft lullaby would be coming from one of the beds in a corner. A lullaby that she hopes calms down the colt that woke up crying after having had a bad dream. With a song, she hopes to reassure him that everything will be okay and he can go back to sleep.

"I see it now." She not only sees the basket, but she also sees Kindle Drop and Tender Cap out of bed too. She will get them back to bed soon, but for now, she follows Nova, surely just as curious about the strange object as he is. (Open Hooves Orphanage @mlp_batbat)

"If you could, that might help...I hope the poor dear hasn't been out there long." While she doesn't pick up the baby, she does pull back the blanket to try to see if she at least looks well and isn't cold. (Open Hooves Orphanage Kindle Drop @mlp_batbat Tender Cap)

"She does seem to be okay, but if she was just born, it would be best if somepony looked her over. Maybe they could point out a mother." Though the latter would be useful, the foal's well being is of utmost importance. (@mlp_batbat Kindle Drop Fiona Snowfeather Open Hooves Orphanage)

After wishing Kindle Drop and Fiona Snowfeather good night, all her focus would turn towards the baby @mlp_batbat, and Ms. Meadow's instructions on how to take care of her. With Nova's help, they will make sure the baby will be okay until the doctor comes to see her.

She usually only sings for the foals, and the occasional silly song. But because Oak Tag asked, she couldn't say no to her friend and teaching partner. It seems like a fitting prelude to what will hopefully be a fun and successful year of teaching their little learners.
