Celestia knows the truth...as does Luna but they hide it from us. Why? Probably to prevent mass panic among their subjects

BUT ANSWER ME THIS, PRINCESSES! How much mass panic do you think learning the truth would cause when they realise their bountiful rulers hid it from them

So, ghosts are real, but who knows

Celestia and Luna definitely know

Which probably means that every other Princess does too

That also counts for guards and servants placed close to them...

I’m sure more ponies know but there’s no way of contacting them to gather information...

Perhaps the pillars of Friendship know, Sonnambula definitely knows. As probably Star Swirl and Meadowbrook do too...
