...I was found in the woods as a filly. When they found me, I had a cutie mark, but only on one side. The other side had this mark on it, like a complex, sprawling tattoo all across my leg and flank. My entire life, that's just what I assumed it was. A strange tattoo.

But apparently, that's not what it is. A couple weeks ago, I noticed that, in certain situations, it starts to glow and pulse with what appears to be magical energy. It appears randomly, but when it does pop up... I feel like my abilities are heightened. It's hard to explain...

Yeah, it looks totally normal when it's not acting up. Unfortunately, I can't activate it or deactivate it, it seems to be triggered by some external source.

Well, the first time I noticed it... I was muzzle to muzzle with a Timberwolf in the Everfree. Another time... I was chasing a rogue cloud, also from the Everfree. *blink*

That sounds reasonable.... *Her ears perk up as she remembers something* And when it was active... I was able to communicate with the timberwolf, and the cloud. They both obeyed my commands.
