🎉 Exciting milestone! The first cohort of the Certificate in Oncology Ethics program graduated December 2024! This program was a collaboration with the ethics faculty & staff & the EDI team. We’re excited to welcome the second cohort, starting February 4, 2025!

EDI team members Brandon Greer and Renee Celeste attended the Texas IPE Consortium, winning the Simulation IPE Challenge and completing the IPE Facilitator Certificate. Their achievements highlight our growing commitment to interprofessional education.

EDI’s Certificate of Clinical Educator Excellence (C2E2) program hosted a session on assessment & feedback in clinical education, featuring Dr. Jonathan Lim from Baylor College of Medicine. His insightful lecture provided learners with a foundation in assessment principles.

Join us via Zoom from noon – 1 p.m. on May 8 for the 2025 MD Anderson Cancer Center Mike Hogg Award and Lecture honoring Michael Hall, Ph.D., Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Basel! Looking forward to his presentation on mTOR signaling in growth, metabolism, and disease.

TEACH-S was an incredible opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions with fellow TMC institutions. Congrats to Delores Whiteing, Jamie Baker, & Masha Deghanpour for their exceptional presentations! Baylor University did a great job hosting, & we’re excited to host next year!

I had the privilege of facilitating a CMETTS session with the simulation team. It was great to see students build interprofessional skills. A special highlight was observing Shelita Kimble lead the session, delivering high-quality simulation & insightful didactic instruction.
