The more people who wear high quality masks, the less hosts there would be for viral replication. I feel like that is a very basic concept and I wish people could understand it.

COVID & flu vaccines don’t stop completely stop infection. But they do reduce the risk of getting infected & greatly reduce severe illness risk. They are still worth getting. As they aren’t 100% effective it’s also wise to add another layer of protection by wearing a mask.
