Ahead of her address to the UK House of Commons later today, our #LGBT + person of the week is Caitlyn Jenner. Announcing that she identifies as a woman in April 2015, Jenner has undoubtedly helped bring trans* issues to the forefront, leading to raised awareness #TransIsBeautiful

In light of recent events, our #LGBT + person of the week is 2014 #Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst. We stand in solidarity with her after she was forced to discuss her HIV status due to abhorrent and cruel blackmail attempts. The stigma must end around this horrible disease.

Few people have had as big an impact on today's political climate than our #LGBT person of the week, Glenn Greenwald. Regardless of opinion, in 2013, Greenwald was instrumental in breaking the Edward Snowden story, changing the political world as we knew it.

Our #LGBT person of the week is the fabulous @Charlie_Craggs! A trans* activist with a rising profile, Charlie has raised awareness through her innovative Nail Transphobia campaign and recently edited her own book. Resonating with youth, Charlie has already transformed lives.
