What is it called when the more you do MSRA passmed questions, the stupider you get? At least the comments section is giving me life

This may be an unpopular opinion but if as a society we're okay with burdening 18 year olds with high interest loans for uni then we should be okay with fully grown pensioners not getting more pension money because they failed to check what the pension rules are before retiring

I love how doctors in the US get professional headshots and get to stay at the same hospital for their training while we have to sit exams where we have to answer questions about patients sending us friend requests and relatives shouting at us

What happened during today’s vote on Kemi Badenoch's amendment? 1. MPs considered Kemi Badenoch’s amendment to the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill. The Bill includes measures like stricter home-schooling rules, funding for free breakfast clubs, and limits on branded school

Been thinking about back in med school how I told the F1 I was taking a day off placement for Eid and she berated me about it. Because as a junior, my med student could tell me they were taking the day off to go strawberry picking or watch Greys anatomy and I'd say sure have fun

Whenever I see crazy takes like this (from a boy mum too) I think back to the Incredibles and how Incrediboy became a villain because he couldn't be a Super. Oh and nice to see girls once again being blamed for boys. Throwback to my childhood.

To add to this, in the Incredibles, I also believe Buddy being a boy was crucial because if Buddy had been a girl, rejection wouldn't have turned her into a maniacal psychopath. Women don't respond to rejection by killing people.

I really want to know why it takes so long for MSRA results to come out and why you get them on a different day depending on which specialty you've applied for. Like what is the reasoning. I just need to know if I need to start looking for jobs in Aus/NZ.

In law school, during my human rights module, our lecturer discussed how human rights are a novel concept in human history and how it's going to be dismantled over the 21st century. Those girls don't know it yet but their rights are at risk. And for some, it'll look like freedom.

Maybe sticking some clinipore with googly eyes and a mouth on my webcam before my anaesthetics interview was not a good idea

Prof Tom Solomon CBE I remember being your SHO, and after doing YOUR clinic I asked you to complete an assessment for my portfolio, to which you respond “no sorry I don’t do those.” If you couldn’t do that for your juniors, I doubt you’ll do much for doctors in general. DO NOT VOTE FOR THIS PERSON.
