In my series of goodbyes over the next week, I spend my final evening with the Chelmsford Singers today, after 2 years of accompanying each week. Already so touched by the kind words and gifts put together – delighted to now have my first ever conducting baton! Can't thank you enough.

My last day with ChelmsCathMusic was a special one. Great music, great singing, and a fitting way to end my work with this brilliant community. So much learned, and so much to take forward into something new!

It's been an amazing experience touring with EYO @EssexMusicHub through the Netherlands and Belgium this past week. As well as getting to witness such amazing young talent, I was lucky enough to be able to perform the organ with them – the first time I've done so abroad!

I've been so touched by all the tributes that have been said and sent over the past week. I formally leave Chelmsford Cathedral today feeling so grateful for being able to contribute to such a fantastic musical tradition, and for the skills this role has given me. Good luck and thank you!
