NATO Defence Ministers gave their political support for Finland to host a MCLCC under JFC Norfolk & to establish a FLF presence in the country. A #NATO MCLCC & a FLF presence together with 🇫🇮’s national capabilities will ensure strong deterrence and defence for Northern Europe.

I welcome the 14th package of sanctions that imposes new trade restrictions covering €5 billion of 🇪🇺 exports on industrial goods, advanced technology & chemicals, incl.manganese ore. ❗️Strong enforcement by the Member States remains key to weaken Russia’s ability to wage war.

Disturbing news about Orban’s visit to Moscow. It is clear that he has no mandate to negotiate or discuss on behalf of the EU. His visit would show disregard for the duties of the EU Presidency and undermines interests of the European Union.

Today was the last 🇪🇺#Coreper for us - Permanent Representatives of 🇪🇪🇫🇮🇱🇹🇱🇺🇸🇰. Departing to different destinations - Berlin, Bratislava, Helsinki, Paris & Pristina - but holding wonderful memories from our work together. It has been a joy, a privilege and a lifetime experience.
