I caved

i have been working on my first round of edits for ForestWIP, and I have finally gotten past the stuff I wrote 6 years ago and am up to the things I wrote in July. the difference in the writing is very noticeable and I feel bad for anyone who had to read my writing 6 years ago

Less than 300 words and I hit 70k 😮😮😮

OK i have sent out my WIP to beta readers and now I cant look at my manuscript or ill scream so I must find something else to do with my time

Not only is using AI to 'write' lazy and missing the whole point of writing, but it's also plagiarism?? Like, the models that these AI's use are trained on other people's (probably stolen) work???

I thought I had done enough editing on my manuscript to start drafting a query letter, but before I even got 1 paragraph in, I decided to write a new opening chapter and restructer a sub-plot 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Inspiration only hits me after I finish 3 months of non-stop camp counsellor work. Last time I wrote 60k words, this time I have 100 new ideas and am getting ready to dive into some substantial edits

I always thought it was exaggeration when people say they cut thousands of words in a big editing session, but I just cut almost 3k words out of the first 10k 🙃🙃
