When it comes to #ResponsibleAI understandability can only get you so far. The focus should be predictability and trust. Asking a human or #ai, "Why did you do x?" only works in limited domains or with limited answers.

All the attention on #GenerativeAI reminds me of Amara's Law - We tend to overestimate the effect of a technology in the short run and underestimate the effect in the long run.
