Arguably the most valuable thing Facebook would never do for society is to show users their Gullibility Score. Then again, most gullible folks would balk at the results and gladly submit their personal info to some page claiming to have "the real scores Facebook won't show you."

Did we ever get around to telling 99% of city leaders that they failed miserably when given the pandemic-induced, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reprioritize our streets? Maybe I'll mention it at the third community meeting tackling the hot topic of installing a speed bump.

I thought this was a tweet about the built environment. Took a while to realize it was about Covid. Still, works either way.

Find me the Texas employer who is *both* advocating return-to-office culture *and* soliciting feedback from employees on improving its parental leave & childcare policies, in light of the new abortion ban bill. Because like it or not, the state's policy is the office policy.

So this Texas CEO was canned for his remarks, but the thing is... this is the perspective of any Texas CEO who expects you to come into the office, as it implies you need to live in Texas. If leadership isn't actively trying to relocate or let staff go remote, they're complicit.

Silver bullets still need a gun to be fired from, and someone with good aim & better judgment to wield it. Y'all ain't waiting on a silver bullet. You're waiting on an omniscient, self-propelled silver bullet. That's called "the rapture", and it's fake, so get your shit together

I need an #entomologist to tell me how & why the fuck stinkbugs are so skilled at sneaking their way through any obstacle to invade your house/car/etc, but then end up standing completely still on a high-contrast background until they die.

If transit ridership is down 50, 60, 70%... just make the rides free. Just try it for 6+ months leading up to a milestone election/vote. You sell utility to the public, not fares. No better time to remind your investors (the public) of that fact. post-gazette.com/news/transport…

Auckland City Council messin' around with the idea of just taking away parking whenever they want to do something sustainable, and leaving residents to deal with the repercussions. Ah yes, the repercussions of sustainability. nzherald.co.nz/nz/auckland-co…

I only allow myself to use famous car numbers as my phone alarm times. Could use some help on 4-digit options... currently I just refuse to set alarms around those times like a jerk. 1:50 2:40 3:02 4:42 5:55 6:35 7:22 8:50 9:28 etc.
