Five years ago today, #SLMPD Officer Tamarris Bohannon was killed in the line of duty. Today, at his memorial bench in Tower Grove Park, we honored his courage and sacrifice — and reminded his family and our community that we will never forget him.

An 18 Y/O is in jail after driving a stolen car around 10pm, fleeing from police and driving it directly at a #SLMPD detective deploying spike strips. Thankfully, our detective was not hurt. The driver, armed with a gun, ditched the car and was arrested after a foot chase.

The men and women of the St. Louis, MO Police are working day in and day out to make #STL safer for everyone. There have been 90 murders so far this year, compared to 109 murders during the same period in 2024 and 135 murders a decade ago in 2015. We recognize there's plenty more work to do.
