Insecurities are the seeds that grow into jealousy and rage. Don't water them, master them. If you don't, you will likely create that which you most fear... being alone.

Athletes have to know that there is trouble out there. Many temptations. Many distractions that can take you away from what you have worked hard for. Chase offers a master class here. If you don't know, learn how to steer clear of drama.

So we're clear. Having sex with a 14 year old is illegal. #WanderFranco getting a suspended sentence has to do with the quality of representation professional athletes can afford. It is wrong. Her mother getting 10 years for trafficking her is just as bad. espn.com/contributor/je…

Explain this one to me: A professional athlete was found guilty of sexually assaulting a minor. Sentence suspended. What does this tell athletes about accountability? Do what you want & pay your way out of trouble. A dangerous message. Athletes have to be taught accountability.

The hardest part of #angermanagement is when someone improves and avoids situations that they previously would have overreacted to, no one sees it. It is critical that they reward themselves for their improvements because they are often invisible to others.

The minute an opponent starts to trash-talk or attempt psychological warfare, you should know it is because they know they can't beat you straight up. Smile. Stay composed. Do your thing. You have the advantage!

The idea that Rage Rooms cure anger problems is unabashedly bullshit. They do not do anything to cure anger. They lead to you feeling better for breaking things. Guess what you'll do more of...? Yeah, great idea.

On the #4thofJuly I think it's important to remember the freedoms we have in the US that aren't elsewhere. Many people protest for groups that would reject, if not kill them if they were in their midst. #America is not without flaws, but still nowhere else I'd want to live.

We need to do a better job of making therapy more appealing to men. It is a sign of strength to figure things out. Too many think it is weakness. I think most men feel misunderstood. We also need more good male therapists giving permission to figure it all out.

So far, 80% of the responses to this poll where I ask if people think folks are more angry now than in the past came from men. I'd love to hear some women's opinions on this. Please weigh in.

Far and away, this poll showed that most of you feel people are angrier now than in the past. I am going to be releasing a book about this in the Fall because while many people say this, when you ask someone why they're so angry, they usually say they're not. 73% of the

I love this that Lindor said. I'm not motivated, I'm disciplined. Motivation comes and goes. It is why I don't believe in momentum. Games swing in either direction. When confidence remains high (like when disciplined), you take advantage of the opportunity when it presents. #Mets

Especially for New Yorkers, we were very spoiled in the early 2000s by #DerekJeter and #DavidWright . As much as the Yankees and Mets having good teams, rarely did you see star players who ALWAYS said the right thing. Never said a bad word about a teammate. True role models.

Normally, I'm supportive of athletes getting every dime they're worth, but now the argument is, even if I get arrested and violate personal conduct policies, I should still get paid? Um, no. Sports need accountability, and this is especially true at the professional level.

Mental health symptoms are often protective. PTSD symptoms are your mind trying to do exposure therapy & make a narrative. Disordered eating may be to regain control. Understand the why gives compassion to those struggling. Thanks Rebecca McConville & Riley Nickols for the platform!
