A great start to our 2024’s International Agatha Christie Festival with Christie Time giving us six un-broadcasted gems!

Great day yesterday at International Agatha Christie Festival It’s not just the fantastic talks you get to see but the wonderful people you meet and the new friendships you strike up. Bookclub with Mark Aldridge and Gray Robert Brown, Forensic Detective with Carla Valentine, Lost Lingo with Kate Gingold

Just been beaten at Cluedo by Dr Jamie Bernthal-Hooker following his lovely Murder Lunch Club talk on the history of the game - this brings its 75th anniversary. If ever you’re in Manchester I demand a re-match :-) International Agatha Christie Festival

Wonderful end to my last day International Agatha Christie Festival . A double bill of erudition on all things “Partners in Crime” with the lovely and learned John Curran. And a brilliant talk about Agatha’s Dust Jacket Art and Artist by Collecting Agatha Christie. These are the reason we come to these events.

Lovely visit to Gladstone's Library today. Wonderfully special place. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the creams teas are rather nice too.

All four of my novels with Agatha Christie as sleuth are now 99p on Amazon. For a limited time only. Each is set in a real place that Agatha visited. 1/ Harrogate in 1926 2/Tenerife in 1927 3/Iraq in 1928 and 4/ Skye in 1930. Simon & Schuster UK Digital Simon & Schuster @AitkenAlexander

A late night listen for Halloween Christie Time have triumphed again. Reminds me of the H’ween games we had as kids. We used to hang apples from strings on a stretched out rope, then try to take a bite out of the apple without it hitting you on the back of the head! Try it!

Had the joy of watching Cinderella Palace & Opera Mcr and even got a chance to meet Jason Manford and Ben Nickless, who together with @myradubois led a stellar cast in a fantastic show. Congratulations!
