It was an honour to meet Emanuelis Zingeris from the Lithuania Parliament to talk about the situation in Burma. During our conversation I asked the Lithuanian gov to impose sanctions on aviation fuel, speak out for political prisoners & provide humanitarian assistance to thousands of IDPs

A revolving door of political prisoners keeps spinning in Burma. A prominent peace activist, Saw Phoe Khwar was released on 15 Nov just to be rearrested on the same day. Many of those who released last week face similar threat. According to AAPP (Burma), 12,976 pp still in jail.
