💥 Sports Council 24/25 💥 Today our sports council met to plan extra curricular opportunities and upcoming events. The P.E department can’t wait to work alongside this fantastic group of pupils to ensure all pupils get the best sporting opportunities. #achievingtogether

💥Extra curricular 💥 Our extra curricular clubs will start next week (wk beginning 26th Aug). You don’t need to sign up for clubs just turn up and give it a try. We can’t wait to see you all at extra curricular clubs ✨

My higher class celebrating Daniel’s birthday this morning with some cakes during our theory period!

Well done to Morla and Ellie who are our Young Sport Ambassadors for 24/25. They spent the day at Hampden yesterday taking part in a number of workshops to develop their skills and ideas. We look forward to working with the girls to enhance sporting opportunities at Vola.🌟

Our S2 boys faced St Thomas in the first round of the Crooksten Cup. VOLA were hungry for the win, ending the half with a 5-0 lead. Displaying a dominating first half. Game 5-4 after some efforts on and off the pitch from St Thomas in the second half. MOTM - Johnny Napier

Today we had Graeme Armstrong in to tell us his story and how he overcame challenging times. What an inspiring story and person.🙌🏻 So important we all continue working together to ensure we are supporting every young person.💛

Yesterday I completed my first ever Hyrox! I loved every minute of it but what I really enjoyed was seeing how big the fitness community is becoming. I loved seeing people cheering for others and seeing how much people are challenging themselves 💛🤩
