A great day at Future Asset Alumni Careers Insight Day. Pupils took part in workshops looking at routes into the industry, and transferable skills that can lead to a successful application! We ended the day with an insightful workplace visit to Maven Capital Partners ✨📈 #IAmAnAsset

The Technologies Faculty have well and truly embraced Wellbeing Week and have hosted various Wellbeing activities for Larbert High School Feel Good Friday - with a sprinkle of excitement for the Euros of course…….. 💆🏼‍♀️✨⚽️🎨

A great start to Monday for National 5 Business! Pupils were learning how to answer different command words to prepare for exam style questions! These questions were based on Heroes Chocolate, which meant there was also the opportunity to taste test!! 😋🍫📝

Great work from S2 Year Team @ LHS this week who have been presenting their Games Development and Viral Adverts based on a Junior Apprentice episode. 👾🕹️🎮 A great unit to end the year with a great class!! 🌟

Tomorrow marks my last day Larbert High School 💙 I couldn’t have asked for a better NQT year! I am so grateful for every experience and opportunity I have had during my time in the LHS Technologies dept! It’s been an honour working with such amazing colleagues and pupils! 👩🏽‍🏫📚

Today was all about questioning and command words with #StrathBusEd… we had the return of #CaterpillarCommandWords (which of course meant cake 🍰), thanks to past student Miss Thomson for sharing your command word template.

A creative day in class with Higher and National 5 Business Management today! HBM were creating organisational structures out of sweeties and spaghetti 🍝🍬 N5 were creating revision plates to help their understanding of External Factors! 📊🗺️ Fab work from both 👏🏻

Turning board games into lessons! 🎲🐄 Highers enjoyed a game of Herd Mentality when learning Technology in Marketing. Easter eggs definitely increased the competitiveness from S5 Year Team S6LHSYT 🏆 Well done everyone! 👏

Last week S3 carried out On the Job Training, with 1 person from their group being the ‘experienced employee’ instructing the rest of the team how to create the packaging for their new jam. 🍓 Such an engaging lesson, and a great discussion afterwards about the pros and cons! 🤔
