A6 #EBEdChat I like to make sure to set a time each week to check in with students on their progress. This way they are aware that its expected to work towards the goal every day and they can see for themselves how they are doing! Plus, they see that I care about their growth.

A7 #EBEdChat I have a tendency to be really hard on myself if things don't go "perfectly". My goal is to make small goals as I work towards the big picture, so that I can give myself the time to grow - Which is hard when you're an over-thinker!

The great candy corn challenge! Each night that they read, students earned an opportunity to make an estimate about how many candy corns were in a jar. Today we practiced our grouping strategies and counted the candy corn! The closest estimates won a prize 😁 Central School
