We have a Shakespeare unit for the first two weeks back and the English lead bought this book for each year group. I must say, it is a stunning anthology with gorgeous illustrations. So accessible. Great to read for pleasure too- I’ve just enjoyed Hamlet and Macbeth!

We experimented with shading techniques on Friday. In my opinion, it’s always good to think about composition and display in sketchbooks- How can you use up the whole page?

I forgot to share the Mother’s Day cards we made in Year 5. They made the origami envelopes themselves and thought very hard about colour combinations. The flowers were the hardest part.. They did so well on this paper craft!
