Phase one of the preservation project at Mid-City Apartments in Center City Philadelphia is complete! We are moving to phase two. The renovation of Mid City benefits the community by allowing Mid City to continue to provide a path out of homelessness for local residents.

The feeling of Fall is officially in the air! Residents at Imani Park in Edison NJ, participated in a fun Pumpkin painting activity. It was great time filled with snacks, music and awesome pumpkin decorating!

Mission First's Brigette Johnson attended a training at the U.S. Attorney's Office to become a trainer with their office. The training was aimed at spreading awareness about scams affecting vulnerable populations, such as elder abuse, scams, and fraud.

Our friends at Volpe Enterprises came out to The Whitehall Apartments in Spring City, PA to interview some of our veteran residents to learn more about their years of service and their housing with us in preparation for their Veterans Day efforts.

Pumpkin chili was featured on the entrée list for our nutrition class with Chef Herb, in partnership with the ED SNAP program at Golden Rule Plaza in Washington DC. Residents had a great time learning about how to incorporate seasonal vegetables!
