Today I turned 28 YEARS OLD. Which means 12 YEARS AGO I was on Educating Yorkshire. Over the years, teachers have helped me to push forward in all things I doubted myself I could achieve. Teachers gave me more than an education - they gave me a future. I will forever be grateful.

Today’s trip to Blaenavon Ironworks and the Big Pit Coal Museum ! We learnt about the history as well as how to incorporate this into our teaching! ✏️ Also today, Tata Port Talbot shut off their last blast furnace. Hearing about the jobs still being done up until today was striking!

Children's brains develop rapidly in the first five years. Play is a huge part of that development alongside caring relationships. Early years really matters. 😊 #EYFS

I've been telling absolutely everybody this fact lately and I don't know why. I don't know if it's a defence mechanism or what, but I just feel so compelled to bring it up all the time. Teachers make at least 1500 decisions a day.
