Sage class enjoyed their first science lesson on our new topic…habitats! We went outside to see if we could find any creatures and then discussed which habitats they can be found in 😀🐜🐝🦋🕷

On Friday we loved looking on Google Earth and exploring different places! In science we have been learning about different habitats. We have been creating habitat boxes and are excited to show you them during the open evening on 7th July! 😀🐳🐍🦋🐵🐭🌿🪵

Jasper, Bluebell and Violet have come home for a bubble bath tonight. They enjoyed playing with their toys in the bath too! 🦆⛵️💦

We had a fantastic time at our Year 2 sports day this afternoon! I am so proud of all of my super Sages for their enthusiasm and positive attitudes! 😀🎉👍🏻

Year 2 Greenways Primary had a lovely visit from Sheringham Primary School Year 2’s after they visited the beach today 😀

Yesterday we had a great time finding different methods to solve this word problem involving finding the mass. We found 10 methods which we call an awesome day in Sage class! 😀 Maths — No Problem! Greenways Primary

We loved reminiscing in Sage class today about our favourite memories from the year! We also had a brilliant time at the Enterprise event today running our Sage businesses! 😀

Today in Geography we looked at human and physical features. We sorted famous landmarks and then identified human and physical features found in Greenways school!

We had a brilliant first day in Rose class today! We got to know each other by writing quiz questions and thought about the traits of a good learning partner. It was great to see lots of our school values being shown around the classroom too! 😊🌹

We had a fantastic Friday in Rose class today! We finished our afternoon with our first art lesson this year. We will be adding to our drawing each week and started with the grass. We then learnt the cross hatching technique and used this to add tone and texture to the grass ✍️

We’ve been learning about contractions today in English. We learnt that you can use an apostrophe to join two words together such as ‘I am’ which becomes ‘I’m’ 😀✍️

Happy Friday everyone! In RE today we thought about what we can be thankful for and enjoyed creating a tree of thankfulness! 🌳😀
