My children have been busy historians, learning about the improvements in fire equipment, building material and sanitisation since the Great Fire of London in 1666. They have created an A1 piece of art as a whole class which depicts the changes alongside a balanced argument 🔥👏🏻

During our recent INSET day, we spent time updating our school environment. Here are some of our brand new novel study displays, capturing writing in F2, Year 2 and Year 4 📝📚✨

Not a dry eye in the house tonight, we are simply BURSTING with pride for our KS1 children. Today they performed their nativity ‘The Landlord’s Cat’ to the whole school, family and friends. Their confidence, passion & enthusiasm was incredible. What a lovely way to end the term🎄

Y2 welcomed local aviation expert Brian to discuss our estate’s incredible history, linking to their enquiry ‘What is the history of the streets beneath our feet?’ The children shared their knowledge and Brian gave us insider info on all things planes, engines and pilots! ✈️🪁
