The children have been fascinated with spiders after meeting a few unexpected guests taking shelter from the cold in our reading area 🕷️ This morning we looked at how spiders webs are made and had a go making our own!🕸️

Following on from our learning about spiders and how they make their webs. We were inspired to make our own spider webs! We practised our threading skills and we’re super proud of our creations! 🕸️🕷️

The excitement of Autumn leaves 🍁 🍂🍁🍂🍁 There is nothing better than seeing the enjoyment in the children’s faces when learning outside.

Something MAGICAL is happening is Ruby Class this week 🪄✨🧙‍♀️

We have had the best curriculum week in Ruby Class. We started our week dressing up as Winnie the Witch and casting lots of spells on our teachers! We also enjoyed drawing some pictures of Wilbur using pastels 🧪🪄✨

We then went outdoors and made some magical potions 🧪

After that we made our own special wands for all of our spells just like Winnie the Witch 🪄

On Wednesday Winnie the Witch came to our class and we helped her make a potion to turn Wilbur black!

Finally we carved a spooky pumpkin it felt ‘cold and slimey’ 🎃

To celebrate #AntiBullyingWeek and #WorldKindessDay Ruby class discussed how we can be kind to each other and thought about what makes us a good friend. We also decorated a pair of odd socks to show that we are all special and unique 🧦💕

Digging and exploring outside… our favourite kind of learning 🌿🍂🪴

Ruby class have loved learning all about advent. We discussed all of the kind things that we can do to help people and each made an advent promise 🎄🌟

After learning about dentists and how they help us we were excited to share everything we knew about keeping our teeth healthy. We practiced brushing our teeth and discussed the importance of brushing twice a day! We are super proud of our clean, shiny teeth 🦷😁
