Happy #WorldTeachersDay everyone! It’s not always easy, and it’s not always simple but it is always rewarding and such a special thing to be. To all of my teachers and to all of you, I hope you know how appreciated you are 💙

This was genuinely one of the most gorgeous dances that I have ever seen. Every line was stunning, every hold was perfect and oh my goodness the dynamics were SENSATIONAL! I got emotional watching this as it reminded me of why I love dance so much. Breathtaking! ❤️ #BBCStrictly

Just posted this on my Instagram and thought it would sit nicely here too. Merry Christmas everyone - we’ve all worked so hard this term ❤️

What did this years #Strictly2021 teach us? The arts are more than entertainment. The arts can challenge our perceptions of what is possible. The arts can connect us in new ways. The arts should be taken more seriously in education.

I am so crazily glad that it’s half term for us - everyone soooo needs a break. However I know how much I want to get done during this week so that I feel back on top of things. Not sure I’ve ever felt quite this behind.

I am doing a Dance Piece of the Month each month to help my students engage with professional dance works. So far I have done Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake and balletLORENT’s Rumpelstiltskin. I want to show them a wide variety - any suggestions (preferably works not on the GCSE)?
