After our read aloud How to Catch a Snowman, we went to the courtyard and had fun with some snow ourselves! Students have been asking me when the first snowfall is going to be, so they were super happy to have some pretend snow for now! #RSS11 🌨❄️

Today we reviewed for our Math Test using Kahoot!! I wish I could have captured the cheers and excitement while doing so! Victor and Drew were so happy to be in the top 3 at the end of the game. Great job boys! #RSS11 💯

Happy Groundhog Day! Today we discussed and wrote whether or not we wanted the groundhog to see his shadow or not. Afterwards we tuned in to see the results! Room 107 was not too happy! #RSS11 🥶❄️🌨

Today, Victor earned free time at the end of the day. When I asked him if he wanted a Chromebook, to draw, or play he said, “Can I read with you instead?” ❤️ So proud of this one for always wanting to challenge himself! #RSS11 📚

Day 2 of Read Across America Week! 📚 Today we read books about influential Americans. I was so proud of Darcy and Drew for bringing in books of their own! We learned about Ruby Bridges last month and Darcy felt so inspired by her! #RSS11 📖

Day 3 of Read Across America Week! 📚 Today we wore jerseys and read about influential American athletes. We read about Michael Jordan and learned how he never gave up, even when he didn’t make his HS basketball team. #RSS11 🏈🏀⚾️📣

Day 4 of Read Across America Week! 📚 Today students dressed up to represent their culture or where their family is from! I was so impressed Darcy & Giselle brought in books to read as well! #RSS11 🇵🇷🇿🇦🕎🇵🇹
