Putting our money knowledge to work and having fun while doing it💰The second graders are practicing collecting 50 cents! But here’s the catch, they had to trade in coins to represent 50 cents with the fewest number of coins! 🤑

Monday, Funday 🥳Today we spent time with our 5th grade reading buddies. We talked about ways to show acts of Kindness 🫶🏽 In addition to our Funday, we took advantage of the weather and took a well deserved out door break ☺️

Every writer needs a partner! The second graders started their editing on their fantasy stories. They read, retold and gave suggestions on how to better each others writing ✍️

Such a Fun way to get everyone together and foster a love for reading as a community!

We had a blast! Thank you for putting together yet another fabulous Book Fair! The kids are excited to read their new books!

For Communication Tuesday, we discussed as a class how people communicate in different ways. We discussed that communication isn’t always spoken word but can happen through pictures, written words, body language, devices and Sign Language. Today we learned “I love my grownup”

Annual Birdhouse Build! The birdhouses will be donated to Habitat for Humanity and will be given to families 😊

Thank you to all who donated coins to the Bee Foundation! 3rd graders donated the most coins by weight and taped Mr. Adamo to the wall! Washington’s rowing teams competed in The Bee Foundation Montclair Marathon Row!
