Families, friends and colleagues are devastated. They were humanitarians. They were doing their job - preparing a needed distribution for communities affected by the ongoing conflict. We condemn this attack in the strongest terms. ICRC #Ukraine

Si l’on agit tout de suite pour trouver le plus de disparus possible, en plus de réunir des familles qui étaient déchirées et dans la pire angoisse depuis des années, cela crée les bases pour reconstruire une communauté. #Syrie ⁦Christian Cardon⁩ letemps.ch/monde/la-quest…

In the past 13 years, we have registered 35,000 cases of people who have gone missing in Syria. Behind every case is a family’s pain. We call on all parties to prevent the destruction of crucial records. Stephan Sakalian, head of delegation in Syria 👉🏽 ms.spr.ly/6010ouogo

Fighting near water & power infrastructure in #Aleppo governorate in #Syria risks the safety of on-site staff, as well as access to essential services for some 3 million people. Parties to conflict must follow international humanitarian law which protects such sites & workers.

There are tens of thousands of people missing here in #Syria. 35,000 were registered with us in the past 13 years, thousands more in the past few weeks, and we believe many more are unrecorded. Families of the missing never give up on their loved ones. Neither does the ICRC.
