Huh. I’ve seen a lot of turkeys but never a pale gray one. Spotted on #minutemanbikeway.

#minutemanbikeway plowed in Bedford and W Lexington with a crusty layer of ice on most of it and a few rough icy sections (128 bridge especially). Traction definitely recommended. Should be some melting today so conditions will likely change, esp if there’s a refreeze tonight.

Wow tale of two rides this morning on the #minutemanbikeway. Conditions on the path abruptly change right around the Arlington-Lexington line from mostly icy to hardly any ice at all. Path in Arlington is almost all bare asphalt with only the occasional small ice patch.

Happy spring from the #minutemanbikeway! Looking forward to some great rides in the weeks ahead!

Joined the celebration for the opening of the Minuteman Bike Share this morning! If you’re in the Boston area, take the MBTA commuter rail to West Concord and grab a bike to explore the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail. It’s the perfect day trip!
