We should object to this policy wholeheartedly. The police are a public institution which need full accountability and transparency. Police shootings are in the public interest. Identities do not need to be protected if there is faith that the justice system works correctly.

I agree that Labour should not shy away from immigration. But they shouldn't treat it as a debate, and they should approach it from a human rights and equalities perspective. They should be asking themselves - do we want to increase racial discrimination? And work from there.

Remember that Robinson cares little about jail time because *that* video has millions of views. This highlights that the "rule of law" approach won't combat the far-right and we don't have a good national strategy to stop misinformation, radicalisation and protect people at risk.
