The regiments are finally starting to actually get the first few of the 500 new MAN PLS trucks ordered in February. I'd be more cheerful about it, but fact is industry delivered the trucks months and months ago. What held them back was red tape, bureaucracy, certifications...

The army can't even get new trucks quickly because of pointless bureaucracy.

So the British Army have just purchased 500 MAN HX trucks for £356,000,000. Works out around £700,000 a unit. I presume it includes spare parts and some sort of servicing package. Maybe allowing the 🇬🇧 military truck industry to collapse wasn't such a good idea in the end. Sad
