Today we hosted the @acsa18saa (charter of ACSA Region 18 Annual Superintendents’ Breakfast. With so much going on at all of our school sites, it was nice to pause and be together as we listened to our amazing leaders share their thinking about the future of education and AI.

With so many benefits surrounding Ss engaging in collaborative conversations, we are tracking S talk Vs. teacher talk. Whoever is doing the talking is doing the thinking. Our Ss are thinking! ❤️

I was appointed Principal of Pacific Beach Elementary School yesterday. This is just down the street where I fell in love with education 23 years ago! I’m so excited to come home! ❤️

Celebrating multiculturalism and multilingualism San Diego Unified Barnard ground-breaking ceremony this morning.

It’s always such a treat to have the opportunity to read my book to children and tell them about neuroplasticity and the power of yet. Our Ss are amazing and we should never stop reminding them. ❤️🧠❤️

We opened our new PD room with a bang today- literally! It was so great to surprise our amazing teachers with a learning opportunity from Fleet Science Center . 👏🏼🤓👏🏼🧠❤️

We celebrated Future Bucs Day at San Diego Unified School District PBE. The students and families were welcomed by Mission Bay HS cheerleaders and afterwards, the cheerleaders went to visit their former PBE teachers. What a fun day!
