[🪖]: I think I'll have it be canon that Elena took fire from the guards at the gate when she fled the military base. They were ordered to kill her after she defied orders and stole the Humvee. Her refusal to assist with terminating civilians almost cost her, her life.

[🪖]: When it comes to iconic firearms, I think for Elena, hers would be the SCAR-H with a holo sight and a grenade launcher, and perhaps a laser sight mounted on the side. Her ties to the military would make it a bit easier for her to get her hands on it. :)
