We would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest Probationary FF Trainee Fernando Cervantes pictured in between the flags. Special thanks our Milpitas Fire Honor Guard for the presentation of colors. His first day on duty was Tuesday November 12. Welcome aboard Fernando!

On 11/12 -we sent a full first alarm to a report of smoke showing from a residence on Timber Way. Crews observed a single-story duplex with light smoke from the attic. We quickly isolated, and extinguished the source of heat. No injuries reported and cause is under investigation.

Yesterday we were honored to have Coach Primo stop by to meet our very own Probationary Firefighter Paramedic Brendan Hare. FFPM Hare was the primary treating paramedic during a critical medical event last week while Coach was out on a jog.

With rapid response, high level of Advanced Life Saving care, and transport to the ER- we are celebrating a positive outcome for Coach. It is amazing when we are visited by community members after a critical event and validates our mission of providing quality responsive service

Another successful Teen Fire Camp in the books! From hands on training and teamwork building, this camp was a great experience. Thank you to all of the instructors, volunteers, and especially the campers who showed up ready to learn and lead. Looking forward to the next one!
