Canola establishment is quite variable across the Esperance port zone this season. Timing of sowing (before or after the rain?) and soil type variability is very evident

Very impressed with this Mowhawk Wheat sown on May 1. Germinated on very marginal moisture in deep sand, with the help of SE14. Competitive shoot biomass and extensive roots. 80 units of N so far. Fingers crossed for spring! 🤞🏻
