.1840 Brewing Company is now available at my local grocery store. That’s it. That’s the whole tweet. #SundayFunday
I’ve been relatively quiet as of late, but I wanted (no, needed to) to check in with a #WiBeerWednesday beer. Raised Grain Brewing knocked this West Coast IPA out of the park. I keep going into the basement beer fridge to get an Oktoberfest beer and (almost) always opt for this instead.
I went into this evening expecting to purchase and try the Dogfish Head Utopias Barrel-Aged Worldwide Stout for the very first time, but I ended up springing for the LionsTailBrew Pacific Waves West Coast IPA. No remorse. No regrets. Happy #WiBeerWednesday.
If there’s a better local Oktoberfest beer, I have yet to try it. Great stuff from 1840 Brewing Company.
I miss the days when Raised Grain Brewing put out anniversary stout 4-packs in cans, but they’ve made up for it by making the best imperial stout I’ve had in quite awhile. 🔥 🔥 🔥
I haven’t had a really good doppelbock in a while, so I figured there’s no better time than right now. This is the last Raised Grain Brewing Locked Horns I have in the beer fridge, and it (more than) fits the bill on this #WiBeerWednesday. Happy Wednesday, y’all!
First time trying Ocononomoc’s one (and only?) brewery: brewfinity. Prettay, prettay good IPA. Looking forward to trying more. 🍻
I couldn’t pick a better beer to highlight after two-plus years off this app than the Raised Grain Brewing Shrinkage Cold IPA. Probably my favorite style of beer right now, and made by a Waukesha brewery. Even if the Seinfeld reference isn’t intentional, I love, love, love this beer.
This one had me at “West Coast-style…” I’ve never tried anything from Phase Three Brewing before, but the fact that it’s brewed with honey puts it over the top for me. Happy Friday, all! Celebrate accordingly. 🍻
Sundays are for... Bavarian-style lagers? I've never tried this unfiltered, unpasteurized offering from UrbanChestnutBrewing before, but it's an absolute winner. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, everybody!
I don't post as much as I used to, but I do have to shout out Raised Grain Brewing for its "Ten Years of Beers" celebration this year. First up is a re-release of the Hop Doctor Imperial IPA, an "oldie" that I couldn't wait to try again. Can't wait to see what else they bring back!
