My goodness, the lyrics to this song are brilliant and so devastating and delivered by Steve Hogarth with a surplus of feeling. #NP Marillion - "When I Meet God"

I am extremely saddened to hear Strawbs founding member Dave Cousins has passed away. I had the honor of interviewing Dave on multiple occasions, and he was always thoughtful and generous with his time. RIP to a legend.

New MRC! I spoke with author Andrew Wild about his new book about the 1980s British prog rock scene, "A Playground of Broken Hearts." He shared many great stories, discussed how he told the story of six key bands, teased his next book project, and more! michaelsrecordcollection.podbean.com/e/episode-154-…

Sunday spin: “Against the Wall” (2021) by Scottish rockers Mason Hill. As good a debut album as I’ve heard since the turn of the century. Sounds great, and it looks great on translucent yellow vinyl.

Next up: Queen - News of the World (1977). The first Queen album I ever owned (the original copy is long gone). Still my favorite album by them. What a great showcase for Freddie’s range as a vocalist. The artwork is haunting. #VinylRecords #VinylAddict #VinylCollector

I had a great chat today with Arjen Anthony Lucassen about "Songs No One Will Hear," his first solo album in more than a decade. Can't wait to bring you that story!
