After the Total Eclipse in the US this week I was just checking our chances of something.
The next couple of years will see a Partial Eclipse around here🤞(clouds permitting).

There's a total Solar Eclipse visible for within a line from Mexico to the North Eastern seaboard of the US today.
It passes by quite a few large cities including Dallas, Buffalo. They're expecting 1m people at Niagara Falls!
This is when I saw one in Turkey.

Had a few days now sort my 128gb of photos from my epic 24 hr trip to Iceland.
Stayed up all night photographing the eruption in -8 temps. Then the Aurora appeared😯
Eruption to the South, lights to the North but the green headed south by the end of the night!!

I've just been to Iceland for 24hrs and have spent the last 5 days or so editing my photos!
Here's a couple that might be of interest.
Keflavik airport is close to the eruption site.
I even chose my seat according to wind direction so I could see the eruption on both flights!!

Didn't know which way to face because the eruption was happening behind me!!
There was supposed to be a small chance of a show🤷‍♂️

Amazing what you can see in a quick 24 hour trip to Iceland. Went on Thursday am and back on Friday am.
No sleep, no hotel, just a hire car but wow was it worth it👍

Worm Moon over Croft Hill.
Not very colourful I'm afraid. It was a good half an hour before sunset and looked very pale and lacking detail.
